Bolinao 5th Mangunguna Festival 2012 (Calendar of Events)


Bolinao Pangasinan is now preparing for its 5th Mangunguna Festival and Town Fiesta 2012. “Mangunguna” in Bolinao dialect means Fishermen. This event is celebrated annually to give tribute to the fishery industry of the town. As we all know town of Bolinao is rich in aquatic life and the area is suited for aquaculture industry. In fact fishing and aquaculture is the main source of livelihood of the community.

This year, Mangunguna Festival starts from April 21 – April 30. Like last year, lots of enjoyable activities were prepared to entertain townspeople and visitors. In this 5th Mangunguna Festival, we will expect for coke pabingo, art exhibit, poster making contest, rockaholic, singing contest, bankarera, river watersports, street dancing and many more.
